Only top meetings are used to determine the ratings. They are based on race horse public form but also trainer capability and statistic, racecourse, management. Finally, sectional times are studied (flat) to determine horse's with that extra bit of speed and showing signs of a win in the making.Ratings vary between1-12 in regard to numeric formula. This i s something I tend to do and even preach it a bit - it's personal preference though. For those who are not familiar with this method of betting I will explain. We make words from the name of a race horse by using the Confucian classic I Ching. There are set rules for this contained in a book that will soon appear on Amazon book website. This book is based on I CHING or Oracle of change.On today's card at Bangor there was a clear bet and by using a portion of the book I will show you . Below are the words we can look for in this particular race. There is a set procedure for making these words and inserting them in the horse's name. For now though just see a bare demo of how it's done. The horse was called DIVA LUNA - I made the word A DIV (Fool). The hexagram in the I Ching was 21 Shi Ho, line 3 Bites on Dried meat discovers something poisonous. Hateful people, Wasters, etc.(A DIV) A LUNA WON 7/4Line 3 - Wood will generate Fire1 Symbols, Influence - Acrid, Steam, Soot, Smog, Cinders, Ashes.
2 Man, Woman, Groups - Culprits, Lout, Idiot, Div, Dead Beat, Hater.
3 Place, Object - Flare, Furnace, Bonfire, Lights, Torch, Beacon, Blaze.Here is another Ching Words example -Line 6 - Metal + Metal
